I came across a couple of interesting charts over at Cheap-Holiday.com recently that I thought I would share. The first chart shows the cheapest country to vacation in based on costs of food, hotels and transportation but also in comparison to what you earn.

The best choice for your next vacation is Thailand. At least it is, if you are looking to save some money. Thailand has some of the cheapest prices in the world. Seriously! Many countries are not expensive for Americans, but after you actually go through the conversion currency to U.S. dollars, your pockets will be hurting from paying such high costs. For those wanting to live and work in an exotic place, but not pay a fortune, Vietnam is any budget travelers dream. It’s one of the best and cheapest countries to live in for expats.
