Grand Teton National Park is one of my favorite national parks within the United States. Within the park, you’ll find numerous different areas that can be used as your ceremony location. The jagged snow-peaked mountains make the perfect backdrop for any wedding or elopement. I personally recommend this location during the spring or summer, as the roads close down for the winter.

Hurricane Ridge, found in Olympic National Park in Washington State, is one of my all-time favorite mountain wedding venues, especially during sunrise and sunset. Here, you’ll be taken back by the stunning views of the nearby mountains. Plus, there are always deer roaming around this area, making this a truly enchanted place for any wedding.

Stanley

Not many people know about Stanley. Stanley is a small town in Idaho. With only a population of 63 people, it’s very easy to miss this town on a map. However, Stanley is home to the Sawtooth Mountains, some of the most beautiful mountains I’ve personally ever seen. There are tons of hiking trails and drive-by locations that are perfect for any adventurous elopement in the mountains.

Mt. Shasta

Mt. Shasta is a super stunning town and area in Northern California. This area is somewhat of a “locals-only” spot. Located in my hometown, I believe this mountain wedding venue is one of the best. There are dozens of hikes around this area that will provide you with jaw dropping views of Mt. Shasta, one of the largest mountains in California.

North Cascades National Park

Washington is nothing short of alluring. Located three hours from Seattle, North Cascades National Park has everything you’re looking for in a mountain wedding venue. Rugged mountains, glaciers, and crystal clear lakes truly make this national park an unforgettable elopement or wedding destination.

Maroon Bells

Maroon Bells is known to be the most photographed place in Colorado, and it’s no surprise why. Maroon Bells refers to the two peaks – Maroon Peak and North Maroon Peak that sit face-to-face with each other. There are multiple hiking trails around the area if you’re looking for a true adventure in the mountains. Be aware that this location is extremely populated though, so it’s recommend to elope here during sunrise on a weekday.

Located in Vermont, this is another location that really shines during the fall season. This venue is secluded from the big cities and offers peace and quiet on your wedding day.
