We are happy to inform you that a tourist visa for Bangkok is available for UK citizens.
The visa is valid for 3 months from the date of entry into Thailand. The maximum stay during the visa validity period is 60 days. If you wish to extend your stay beyond 60 days, you must apply for an extension at the Immigration Bureau Office at Taksin Bridge in Bangkok.
To apply for a visa, please submit the following documents:
1) Passport with at least 6 months validity remaining from the date of arrival in Thailand, plus one copy of the passport photo page containing your name and date of birth (the original passport will be returned to you).
2) A completed application form, with 2 recent passport-sized photographs attached (one photo attached to form). Please DO NOT use staples or glue when attaching your photos – simply staple or glue them together with paper clips instead. Please note that all applicants must have their photos taken in the last 6 months and must be taken against a white background without glasses or hats.
3) An onward ticket out of Thailand (to any destination), plus one copy of boarding pass OR confirmation letter from travel agent/tour company;

This type of visa is needed if the applicant has already been offered a job by a Thai company or employs himself/herself to work in Thailand. Remember that before a Thailand work visa can be issued, applicants must have a non-immigrant visa first.
