However, it is possible to get a visa from Bahrain without having to leave your home country.

Visas can be a pain in the backside sometimes, especially if you’re a Bahraini citizen trying to go on holiday or for work. I’ve visited countries that required me to apply for visas months in advance. However, my experience is different. I’m an expatriate living in Bahrain but I’m not sure where I’m going next year, so it’s important that I get a visa to the country of my choosing.

Visa For Bahraini Citizens

Bahrain is a small country in the Middle East. It has a population of 1.3 million people and covers an area of 6,700 square kilometers. Bahrain has been a part of the Persian Empire for many centuries, but it was not until 1783 that it became a part of the Ottoman Empire. In 1918, Bahrain gained official independence from Britain. It became a member of the United Nations in 1971, and since then has been an active participant in global politics.

Bahrain is located on the western coast of Saudi Arabia and shares borders with Saudi Arabia and Qatar. It is known for its beautiful beaches, ancient mosques and temples, as well as its modern skyscrapers. The capital city of Manama has been home to many great civilizations such as Romans and Persians who built palaces there hundreds of years ago.

If you’re a Bahraini citizen, you can visit the United States of America for up to 90 days without a visa. However, in order to stay longer than 90 days, you’ll need to apply for an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization).

To apply for an ESTA, you must:

• have a passport from a Visa Waiver Program country
• be planning to enter the United States by air or sea
• be travelling on business or pleasure for less than 90 days
• not have previously violated any U.S. immigration laws (local or federal)

The visa application process for citizens of Bahrain is straightforward, and generally takes no more than a few days to complete.

You will need:

-A completed application form, available at most embassies in Bahrain or online.

-Your passport (which must be valid for at least 6 months after your planned return date) and copies of the main pages.

-A recent photograph, which must be taken in colour and show your full face with no head covering (unless you are wearing a headscarf). The photograph must be less than six months old, and signed on the back by a witness who has seen you sign the application form. This person cannot be one of your relatives or employees.
