1. Yellow Fever Vaccine: Required for travellers over 1 year of age coming from infected areas or having been in transit for more than 12 hours in an infected area and for all travellers born after 1957 who have travelled for more than 4 weeks in countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.
2. Hepatitis A Vaccine: Required for all travellers over 1 year of age coming from infected areas or having been in transit for more than 12 hours in an infected area and for all travellers born after 1957 who have travelled for more than 4 weeks in countries with risk of hepatitis A transmission.
3. Typhoid Vaccine: Required for all travellers over 1 year of age coming from infected areas or having been in transit for more than 12 hours in an infected area and for all travellers born after 1957 who have travelled for more than 4 weeks in countries with risk of typhoid fever transmission.

A visit visa is a single-entry visa that allows you to enter the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a period not exceeding 30 days.

To get a visit visa, you must prove that you have been vaccinated against yellow fever and cholera. This can be done by presenting a certificate of vaccination or a declaration of vaccination from a medical center where you were vaccinated.

You can also get vaccinated at any time within 10 days before your arrival in Saudi Arabia. If you are traveling from an area where yellow fever or cholera is known to occur, you must show proof that you have been vaccinated within 10 days before your arrival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Entry and Exit Requirements

• Are there COVID-related entry requirements for U.S. citizens? Yes
• Saudi Arabia will allow travelers from all other countries to enter the Kingdom if they are fully vaccinated (with booster for vaccines for which it is required) with an approved COVID-19 vaccine, including: Pfizer, Moderna, Oxford AstraZeneca, Johnson and Johnson, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Covaxin, Sputnik and Covovax.
• Is a negative COVID-19 test (PCR and/or serology) required for entry to Saudi Arabia? No
• Visitors must download and register on the Tawakkalna application and assign a home location through the app.  Travelers are instructed to not disable or disconnect the application, not turn off their phone or the app’s GPS, and keep their phone connected to the internet.

Quarantine Information

• Are U.S. citizens required to quarantine?  No
  • Visitors are not required to quarantine upon arrival. If an individual tests positive for COVID, they are required to isolate for 7 days.

COVID-19 Testing

• Are PCR and/or antigen tests available for U.S. citizens in Saudi Arabia? Yes
• If so, are test results reliably available within 72 hours? Yes
  • Testing facilities exist throughout Saudi Arabia. Saudi citizens and non-Saudi nationals can visit to obtain a COVID-19 test. The Ministry of Health has also set up Taakad (تأكد) clinics throughout the Kingdom where people can book an appointment for testing. Such advance appointments are available through the Sehhaty app or the Tawakkalna app. Test results will be delivered through the app within 24-72 hours. Test results received on the apps are not sufficient for travel outside of the Kingdom. Private hospitals and clinics charge a fee for COVID-19 testing.  Cost, delivery method, and timing of results varies.
