Vacation In Michigan With Toddler

Vacationing with a toddler can be somewhat of a daunting task – but it doesn’t need to be. In this article, we’ll share our experiences from our vacation to Michigan’s Adventure in hopes that you may learn from our mistakes and enjoy stress-free vacationing with a toddler.

We (my wife, my son and I) just returned from a week in Michigan. We had a lot of fun visiting the city of Detroit, Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. Below is an overview of our trip:

As you can see from the title, your friendly writer, Lisa, took a vacation with her toddler. She hopes to share with you some of the photos she captured on her trip and even go over some of the details that made this trip extra special.

As a parent, you’re always looking for family friendly vacation destinations. So, I recently set out on a journey and volunteered to take my 2-year-old daughter on a solo trip to a place neither one of us had ever been.

The good news is: You won’t be alone on the trip. The bad news is: your toddler may detest you, wander off, and fall into a pond full of crawfish.

Michigan has an astonishing and eclectic blend of weekend getaways to entice the whole family.

From dramatic sand dunes to European-like towns, the Great Lake State has infinite choices for a weekend break with the family.
