Vacation In Louisville Ky

Louisville is a great city that has many events happening within the year. This city has opened my eyes and made me fall in love with the city I live in, and the people within it. This upcoming 4th of July, you should visit one of these places so you can fully enjoy and appreciate everything that is Louisville. These places are crowd favorites every time, but this time is even more special because of what we have accomplished recently.

After traveling the globe long and wide, if you are looking for something new and exotic, Louisville is exactly what you need. Kentucky visitors are in for a treat as they discover the old brick buildings, weird and wonderful food, talented artists, and quiet, scenic parts of the city.

While there are a lot of places to go in the summer, Louisville, Kentucky is definitely one of the best. Louisville provides a vibrant music scene and also an exciting sports culture. If you’re looking to relax like never before, then Portland is definitely the place for you.

Vacationing in a foreign country like the United States is always exciting and it will always bring out your best childhood buddies, frenemies and long lost cousins! In fact, no matter how old you are, there will always be some new faces that you don’t really know. Come on; it doesn’t really matter how old you are or who you are…everyone loves a good vacation!

My hometown of Louisville, Kentucky is a city full of surprises – for those that have never visited, that is. Many people are surprised when they find out that Louisville is the 16th largest city in the country.

Or that, unlike the state it’s a part of, Louisville is super LGBT-friendly with tons of stuff to do for LGBT visitors.

Or that Louisville is friendly to immigrants and refugees.

Or that Louisville is a haven for theater fans, with one of the best theatre scenes in the country (yes, it’s possible to be a full-time working actor in Louisville. How awesome is THAT??).

Or that Louisville is an incredible city for art & culture, with dozens of expertly curated and world-renowned museums. Or that Louisville is a foodie city.  Or that Louisville is totally, and proudly, weird.

Most people associate Louisville with bourbon, the Kentucky Derby, Muhammad Ali, Jennifer Lawrence (PS, we did theater together growing up, I’ll sign autographs later), KFC, and – if they’re from the Midwest – basketball. And all of those things are totally accurate and true, but there is SO much more to Louisville!
