If you are applying for a Thai non-B visa or any other visa in Nepal, and you are not a Nepalese, then you would need to submit the proof of your legal status in Nepal, such as a residence visa or permit.
1. Thai Visa Application Forms
You need to submit 3 complete visa application forms with 3 color photos (not older than 3 months) of the size of 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.

2. Confirmed Round-trip Flights

3. Hotel Reservation in Thailand

How to Apply Thailand Visa in Nepal
You can show up at the Thai embassy in Nepal without any appointment. There is no need to take any prior appointments.
We showed up at 9:15 am to get a number and they checked our paperwork right then. Then we were asked to make the payment for the visa. So, I would say it’s a better idea to get your papers verified before making the payment.
It is not an option to submit the Thai visa application online in Nepal.
Thai Tourist Visa Fees in Nepal
You can pay the Thai visa fees in Nepal at any branch of Bank of Kathmandu.
You need to pay the visa fees of 3,500 NPRs in the form of Manager’s Cheque at Bank of Kathmandu. (Bank of Kathmandu will charge an extra processing fee of 100 NPRs.) It’s a kind of cheque only.
You can pay at any Bank of Kathmandu branch for the Thai tourist visa. The bank is merely 15 minutes walk from the embassy. However, note that it doesn’t open until 10 am.
We got the receipt at the bank by 10.30 am and came back to the embassy. By that time there were many people waiting with numbers, but we were able to skip the queue because we had already had our paperwork checked.
Thailand Visa for Nepalese: Processing time
It takes 5 working days to process the Thai visa in Nepal, but we were able to travel by bus and air around Nepal with copies of passports plus Nepal visa.
We were gone for 10 days before coming back to the embassy to pick up our passports.
