Temporary Work Visa In Saudi Arabia

Are you looking for a way of living in Saudi Arabia temporarily? Do you have a unique skill set, or maybe more time than money? A Saudi Arabian temporary work visa could be just what you’re looking for!

Have you ever considered moving to Saudi Arabia? This Islamic state, also known as the land of the two holy mosques, is attracting many immigrants every year. With its massive population growth, Saudi Arabs are looking for foreign workers to keep their economy growing. You might have many questions about this country and its culture. But how can you be sure that the information you find online is reliable and legally accurate?

Want to work in Saudi Arabia?

If you’re from the United States, Canada or the United Kingdom and want to work in Saudi Arabia for less than two years, you may be eligible for a temporary work visa. If you’re from another country, you’ll need to apply for a student visa.

If you do get a temporary work visa, it will be valid for up to six months. You’ll have to renew it every time you want to extend your stay by another six months, and each time it costs about $300 USD. Once your time expires and you leave the country within 30 days of expiration, though, there is no charge to renew your visa.

If you don’t have an employer lined up before arriving in Saudi Arabia, finding one that will sponsor your visa will be difficult—and it’s likely they won’t offer much money. But if you can find an employer willing to sponsor your visa and pay you well enough that you don’t mind giving up some vacation time (which is often required), then this could be an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to experience life in Saudi Arabia!
