China is the most populous country in the world and it is also one of the largest countries in terms of landmass. However, many students still don’t know how to acquire a student permit in China. The Chinese government requires all university students to obtain a student permit before they arrive in the country. With that said, there are different kinds of student work permits available and each of these has various requirements and restrictions other than the basic procedure which will be discussed below.

The student work permit in China is a document that allows students to pursue part-time jobs while they are studying in China. The document is issued by the school, and students must apply for it before they can start their jobs.

The student work permit is valid for one year and can be renewed if the student meets certain requirements. One important requirement is that students must not exceed the maximum number of working hours allowed per week: 40 hours for those who are under 18 years old; 48 hours for those between 18 and 22 years old; and 60 hours for those over 22 years old.

Another requirement is that students must have an official reason for working outside of their studies. For example, if you are studying language abroad, you might need a job in order to pay your bills or buy food.

To apply for an employment certificate or document, you will need to submit various documents as well as proof of your education status (such as transcripts). You also need to provide proof that you live within certain geographic limits (usually within 5 kilometers of campus).

When it comes to applying for a student work permit in China, there are many things that need to be taken into consideration. The first step is finding a good job that will provide you with the best conditions possible.

The second step is making sure that your school allows its students to work while they study there. If they do not, then it may be difficult for you to find an employer who will hire someone without this permission.

Finally, it’s important that your employer understands how much time is required for studying and how much time they can expect from their employees during this period of time (typically 2 hours per day).

China’s student work permit is a document that allows students to take a part-time job. It’s issued by the school. This document is valid for one year and may be extended after that. Student work permits are only issued to full-time students who attend a public or private school.

To get this document, you must submit your application to the school where you study. If you’re studying at a vocational school, then you’ll need to have your application approved by both your school and the local labor bureau in order to get a student work permit. The application will include your name, gender, birth date, nationality, passport number and expiration date as well as two passport-sized photos of yourself taken within six months prior to applying for the permit (one photo should be attached directly onto the application). You’ll also need proof of enrollment at school such as an official letter from them acknowledging this fact or an official transcript showing that you’re indeed enrolled there right now (they may ask for these documents during their own investigation process).

You must also provide proof of residency in China such as an ID card which has been issued by the local police department since January 1st 2000 onwards or any other form of identification which contains all five

China has been on a mission to increase both its domestic and international tertiary education numbers recently. The latest initiative to make the Chinese higher education system more appealing and for the country to position itself as a leader in the sector is an ease in visa regulations for graduates.

China has the world’s largest population and the largest economy, and produces a huge amount of goods as a result. However, the government is attempting to shift its focus away from production and onto innovation, to be a creative force as well as a production force. To do this, China needs talented graduates and a globalised workforce.

On January 6 2017, the new regulations were announced. International graduates from institutions in the Chinese education system and international students who have attended “well-known universities” overseas will be eligible for work visas in China after graduation. Previously, international students and those with degrees obtained overseas had to have a minimum of two years’ work experience outside of China before they could apply for a visa. This hindrance stopped many from entering the workforce in the country, preventing them from being able to use their newfound skills to help the Chinese domestic sector develop.

Despite China’s vast size, only 390,000 international students studied there in 2015, something the nation is trying to counter. Efforts are being made to make the Chinese education system more attractive, including an increase in the number of degrees taught in English.

To apply for the work visa, international students will now only need a guaranteed job with a Chinese firm in an area that matches their degree and one which offers a reasonable salary. They must also be over 18, have attained an 80% average grade at university and have no criminal record.

It is hoped that these efforts will attract not only international students, but the children of Chinese expats living in other countries. Despite the changes though, the labour market in China is fiercely competitive and international students will be competing with both home-educated Chinese nationals and Chinese graduates of overseas institutions.

The move comes two years after the nation extended foreign residence permits, encouraging experts to stay in China, and a year after the nation allowed international students to join startups in Beijing. Both of these measures were also aimed at bolstering international connections and improving the country’s development industries.

Types of student visas

The Chinese Student Visa (X Visa) is divided into X1 and X2 types.

Those who will be studying at a Chinese university for more than six months will be issued an X1 visa, while those who will be there for less than six months are issued an X2 visa.

Another difference between the two is that the X1 visa is usually issued for multiple entry and is valid for up to five years, according to Visarite.com. The X2 visa is usually issued for one entry with validity up to six months.

The visas are valid for 30 days, but you can stay in China for the entire duration of your visa. However, during the 30 days, you’ll need to apply for a residence permit, basically a replacement of your visa, at a local Public Security Bureau (PSB) Exit and Entry Administration office.

The residence permit will be valid for the time period you were granted with the original visa.

Where to apply

Students from certain countries will have to apply in person at a Chinese Consulate. Click here for the countries on that list.

Citizens from countries like the UK, Australia, Canada and EU countries can apply through the CVASC (Chinese VISA Application Service Centre).

If there isn’t a CVASC near you, you can apply at a local Chinese embassy/consular office, either in person or through a visa agency.
