Canada Student Visa Fees

A fee of $150 CAD is required for Canada Student Visa Fees. Depending on your circumstances, Canadian authorities allow you to pay this fee online.

Students are required to present an upfront medical examination in order to apply for a Canada study visa.

Canada Student Visa Requirements

As soon as you receive your acceptance letter from the institution the student can pay the required deposit to the institution and open a GIC account (if required), and then you can move on to the next step: applying for a student visa, also known locally as a study permit. 

Most international students need a study permit to Study in Canada. Before they can fly to Canada, they must fill out an application and provide the necessary documentation. A study permit is not the same as a regular visa that is available in Canada. 

According to new visa regulations, if you have a family member working or applying for a work permit in Canada, your study permit application will be processed in 2 weeks.

You may renew or extend your study permit if:

For application, you will generally need the following for your Canada Student Visa from India.

  • Valid Passport
  • Attested copies of 10th, 12th, and Degree certificates
  • SOP (Statement of Purpose)
  • Certificates of extracurricular achievements

  • Applicants must show proof of sufficient funds to cover the following costs:

  • It is critical for applicants to be in good health, and they may be required to submit a valid medical certificate if necessary.
