Requirements For Tourist Visa In Pakistan

The purpose of obtaining a Pakistan visa is to be able to enter Pakistan and participate in tourist activities. Pakistan tourist visa allows foreign citizens to visit Pakistan for tourism, medical treatment, recreation, and studies. Depending on the purpose of your travel to Pakistan, you need to apply for the appropriate kind of visa.
A Pakistani citizen who wishes to enter Pakistan for business, visit, entertainment or medical purposes is eligible for a tourist visa that is non-extendable and non-convertible. The applicant should have a passport of minimum 6 months validity after the last exit from Pakistan with at least 2 blank pages.
Requirements For Tourist Visa In Pakistan
All applicants, who want to visit Pakistan for a short period, are required to submit the following documents with their visa application. These documents will help us to complete your visa process more quickly.
Application Type
You can apply for two types of visas online :
First Time (New) : You can apply for a new visa if you do not possess a valid Pakistan visa.
Extension : You can apply for a visa extension if you posses a valid Pakistan visa and you are residing in Pakistan.

Duration and Validity
- Single Entry for short duration less than 3 months (First Time entry).
- Duration up to and greater than 6 months (Extension).
- Citizens from these countries may be eligible for a Double Entry Tourist Visa.
- A Tourist Visa can be extended for up to 6 Months or more, subject to approval.
In case of extension, please make sure that you have a valid Pakistani Visa and are residing in Pakistan as well.
Processing Time
Issuance of Visa is the prerogative of the Government of Pakistan.
- Entry (Up to 3 Months) : 7-10 days (Working Days)
- Extension (Up to 6 Months) : 7-10 days (Working Days)
- Extension (Greater than 6 Months) : 4 Weeks (Working days)
- 37 days (Working Days – First Time Entry/Extension – For Afghanistan Passport Holders)
Please Note: : If the application is Sent Back for Review to the Applicant, the set processing time will be applicable again (The processing time will re-start from the date of re-submission of application).
The Application will stand cancelled if applicant doesn’t resubmit his/her application in Seven (7) days from the date of application sent for review.
