Summer vacations are the most awaited time of the year for every student in their life. Summer vacations bring a lot of chances to get involved in many things that we have been hoping to do.

Summer vacation is a time for relaxation and fun, but it can also be a time for reflection.

We all know how important it is to spend time with loved ones, get outside, and enjoy the sun. But sometimes we forget to take a look at ourselves and think about what we want our summer vacations to look like.

Phineas and Ferb’s Summer Vacation Summerizer was an online game that was ran at the Disney Channel and Disney XD US websites. It began on May 28, 2010, with the start of the “Phineas and Ferb Summer Vacation” event. The end date was supposed to be August 31, 2010.

Phineas and Ferb have expanded on their backyard beach, carnival and campground by creating a play field that visitors can customize. Characters and objects can be placed on the scenes and adjusted as needed. Use the Summerizer controls to move left and right along the background, and to zoom in towards distant objects.

Hidden items could be uncovered by adding objects to existing characters or other objects. New objects were added each week on Friday, determined by votes from the previous week. In addition, sending an e-mail to a friend with an invitation unlocked a new object. In the first month, the summerizer was the backyard beach, in the second month it was the carnival, and in the third month it was the campground.

On the end of summer, about nine or ten objects from each scene were removed.

NOTE:

Each person’s beach, carnival and campground was stored on the Disney servers, so they could visit either the Disney Channel site or the Disney XD site and they would see the same beach.

If the web browser’s cache was cleared, they would not lose their work.

The summerizer was independent of the web browser being used. This meant that a person would see the same one if they used Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc.

Untested but likely: using a computer in a completely different location could have created a new summerizer.

Reports came in that some items were only available when visiting the Disney XD site and would not appear when visiting the Disney Channel site.

If the player went to Disney Channel and built their summerizer there and went to Disney XD, they would have a different account.

Since computer viruses and other malware could be sent by clicking on links sent in e-mail, the player should have told the person that they actually did send them the invitation to visit their summerizer.

At the bottom of the e-mail that was sent, there was a notice about unsubscribing to e-mail from Disney Channel. This might have indicated that sending the invitation also added that e-mail address to other Disney Channel communications.

On July 2, there was a new carnival summerizer, but the beach was still accessible.

With the update of the carnival, hints could have been asked on what items to combine. They also had a symbol on the bottom right hand corner of an object that meant that the item could be combined.

On July 9, it was said that they would begin adding video trivia questions to the carnival.

On July 16, the Summer Vacation Sweepstakes started. This was accessed through the Summer Homepage. Saving Buford’s Goldfish from the Giant Squid, hitting the High Striker and finding Bigfoot gave the player a chance to enter and win 1 of 3 vacations. Additionally, a BMX bike was given away every week. The Sweepstakes ended on August 6.

On July 30, there was a new campground summerizer.
