The Newborn baby visit visa for Saudi Arabia has been approved officially in April 2010. This includes issuance of new visas as well as extension of current visas. It was a great news for both families and expatriates, who can now extend their stay in kingdom with their under 2 years old babies in spite of the fact that they were going through the process of new filing. This measure is taken to overcome limitations faced by expatriate families after arrival in Kingdom or departure from Kingdom or even upon the death of parents or deaths (deaths) according to the statement made by Director General Makkah region Abdul Rahman bin Aqeel Al-Hakeem at press conference held on 28/04/2010 regarding this decision which also confirms that a total number of 624 babies born in Makkah region during last year (June 2009 – June 2010) enjoyed this facility which includes 434 new born babies, 188 babies with extension process

Newborn Baby Visa For Saudi Arabia

The newborn baby visa for Saudi Arabia can be obtained by the parents of a UAE born child. The baby needs to have been born in the United Arab Emirates. The parents need to be citizens of one of the GCC Countries (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait (includes non-Kuwaiti spouses and dependents), Bahrain and Oman).

The KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) issued a newborn baby visa / newborn passport for the newborn baby. The Saudi Arabian Consulate issued this infant travel document to us in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This is a good opportunity for parents who have a newborn baby and planning their trip, but don’t have time to process all the documents required for a passport (such as birth certificate). Mostly the passports issuance process takes around 4 weeks, so there’s just not enough time for people with the new baby to issue a passport and prepare the trip.
