New Rules For Visit Visa In Uae

In the past, most U.A.E nationals did not need a visit visa to travel to other countries, but this changed with the introduction of a new Federal Residency law in 2013. All expatriate residents and citizens in the U.A.E who wish to visit other countries must now apply for a visit visa prior to their departure, which must be purchased from one of the country’s designated airports or via an international airport branch of a local bank if traveling out via air travel.

The UAE has revised the visa rules and regulations, thus making it more tricky for many expatriates to seek new visas. This is because the old rules have been left behind, but there are some that still stand today.

Held this early December by Emirates 24/7, an event organized by Indian Business and Professional Council, Gulf Knowledge Village and Dubai Knowledge Village. The aim of the event was to increase awareness about a number of changes in the visa rules for visitors to the UAE.

On October 3, 2014, new rules and conditions were put in place for KERALA visit visa holders. It was a welcome change to make this process easier for citizens from India. In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of travel visas issued by the U.S. Embassy to Indian citizens.
