Mr young mr summer vacation

Adam Young (Brendan Meyer), a 14-year-old genius, starts work as a high school science teacher. When the school bully, Jordan “Slab” Slabinski (Kurt Ostlund), threatens to beat him up and steals Adam’s master key and wreaks havoc throughout the school. Now Adam must get creative in order to resolve the conflict and outwit Slab.

When Adam has trouble controlling his class, he creates a robot student, Arthur (Gordon Myren), Automated Robotic Teenager Hippopotamus Umbrella Rainbow (as he claimed he needed something for the “HUR”), to enforce the rules. When Mr. Tater (Milo Shandel) finds out, he figuratively says that he is going to kill Adam.

However, Arthur takes it literally and tries to destroy Tater, as one of his directives is to protect Adam. Adam and Derby (Gig Morton) must stop his creation, or he himself could be “terminated.” They finally succeed by having the students of the school dress up as Mr. Tater, causing Arthur’s system to overload. However, when ARTHUR is in the trash can, his hand rises, indicating he is not dead.

Adam learns that Echo (Matreya Fedor) is taking the same route home from school and is excited to walk with her until he learns he has detention duty and the only way to get out of it is to prevent anyone from getting in trouble. Adam and Derby try the whole week to keep Slab from getting detention.

Mr young mr summer vacation review

As Adam Young’s class waits for the end of the school day, signifying the start of Spring Break, Echo reveals that she is vacationing in the exotic South American country of Sanduras. Adam, troubled by his uninteresting plans for Spring Break, decides to tag along with her. Adam soon learns that the agency he tried to book for the vacation doesn’t service people under 18 unless accompanied by a guardian.

Ivy, wanting to go with Adam, convinces Mrs. Byrne to take the two. Principal Tater, also journeying to Sanduras to find a cryptozoological creature called Sasquawk, takes Dang for companionship. Later, in Sanduras, Adam finds that Echo has taken to a debonair native named Diego, who has offered to take Echo on a tour of the Sanduras jungles.

Starting after Echo, Mrs. Byrne stops Adam and makes him rub suntan lotion on her back, a task that Adam regards with disgust. Meanwhile, Derby and Slab are stuck in detention. Jealous of Adam’s vacation, Derby convinces Slab to go to Sanduras, and the two board a hot air balloon posing as a young couple on their honeymoon.

Echo discovers a rare species of rubber tree in the jungle with Diego, who almost kisses her in the process, but, upon learning that a cocoa company is cutting the trees down to plant cacao crops, Echo decides to chain herself to one of the trees in protest to stop the deforestation.

At the end of Part One, Tater, having been tricked into exploring the jungle while Dang relaxed on the beach, is scared by a snake he happened across, Diego, having chained Echo up (not to the tree, just chained her up,) orders her to be taken away to the cocoa company headquarters, revealing himself to be the evil executive of that same company, Adam and Ivy are traveling across a terrifyingly high zipline, and Dang is relaxing with two sunbathing women.
