मैं यहाँ पर सकुशल और आनंद से हूँ। आशा है कि आप भी आदरणीय चाची जी व दीपक और अतुल सहित सकुशल होंगे। अभी दो दिन पूर्व ही गर्मियों की छुट्टियाँ बिताकर मैं मुम्बई से वापस लौटा हूँ। गर्मियों में मुम्बई का तापमान अधिक होता है, परन्तु अनेकता में एकता का संपूर्ण अनुभव मुझे वहाँ देखने को मिला। हर ओर भागते-दौड़ते लोग यहाँ के वातावरण को गतिशील बनाते हैं।
मुम्बई अत्यंत प्राचीन नगर है। यहाँ मैंने कई स्थलों को देखा। यहां पर मैंने गेटवे आफ इंडिया, महालक्ष्मी मन्दिर, हाजी अली, फिल्म सिटी और अजायब घर देखा। यहां पर कई प्रकार की प्राचीन वस्तुएं देखने को मिलती हैं। यहाँ मेरा पुराना मित्र राजीव भी मिल गया था जिससे मेरा घूमने का आनंद और भी बढ़ गया। यहाँ बड़ी-बड़ी गगन चुंबी इमारतों के अतिरिक्त कई मंदिर भी दर्शनीय हैं। महालक्ष्मी मंदिर तो विशेष रूप से दर्शनीय है। मुझे पूरी छुट्टियों में अतुल की कमी बहुत अनुभव हुई।
मुझे पुन : यदि मुम्बई भ्रमण का अवसर मिलेगा तब मैं निस्संदेह चाहूँगा कि आप सभी मेरे साथ हों।
