While a lot of people like to take their vacations outdoors, lots of other people just can’t be bothered with the hassle of camping, or tripping over a thousand cables. If you are one of those people, being stuck inside is not necessarily a bad thing. It gives you lots of opportunity to get things done that you may have been putting off. Here are some ideas for how to spend summer vacation indoors.

It’s summer. You’re on vacation. But the internet beckons and work (not really work but let’s pretend) is somehow caught up on you. How do you spend your free time indoors? I love summer vacation just as much as the next person. But sometimes I like to have a few things planned in case it rains, my child gets bored (this is why we homeschool), or if I want to get out of the house and do something family-friendly. Whether your kids are still in school or the end of summer vacation is approaching, these 20 activities will keep them busy and happy.
