It is mandatory for any person working in Dubai to have a valid and appropriate visa. Failure may lead to deportation or imprisonment. Work permits are issued to expatriates seeking employment in Dubai only by the Emirate they are employed in. The permit has two parts — the primary holder permission and the sponsor permission.

However, before everything, you need an employer willing to hire you and start the necessary procedure to procure your employment visa and work permit for the UAE.
