How Much Is American Visa In Nigeria

If you are going to be traveling along with your family, the last thing you want is to worry about the visas. For example, if you have a toddler and/or preschooler, do you know who will take care of him/her while you stand in line for hours? And if you are an older adult, do you have the physical stamina and endurance to stand in endless (and boring) lines? You definitely don’t want to be sleeping on floors anymore! The question I am most frequently asked by Nigerian travelers: how much is the American visa price? This is not a simple answer but I will do my best to keep this post as informative as possible so that when all is said and done, we will have a good idea of what to expect at the American embassy.

The American dream is just that. It isn’t geographically specific. Regardless of where you live in the world, many people want to immigrate to America and obtain an American visa. How much is a U.S. passport? The nominal fee for a U.S. passport card or generic renewal is $110 payable by check, cash or a money order, although there are other fees applicable to certain passport cards, including the limited-use passport card ($30) and the secondary passport card ($25).

Visa applicants, including children, are required to pay a non-refundable, non-transferable visa application fee, sometimes referred to as the MRV fee, before applying for a nonimmigrant visa. The visa application fee must be paid whether a visa is issued or not. The type of visa for which you apply determines the fee amount. This webpage lists visa application fees associated with each nonimmigrant visa type. In Nigeria, depending on your visa class, the majority of visa applicants will pay either $160, $190 or $265 at GT Bank.

Please note that only the application fees for nonimmigrant visas are listed here. Information about other visa fees that are paid directly to the National Visa Center, to the U.S. Embassy, to the U.S. Consulate General, or to the Department of Homeland Security, can be foundĀ here.

Payment Information

Although fees are listed in U.S. dollars, payment must be made using local currency. You can pay your fee at any GTBank branch or, if you are an account holder at GTBank, you can pay online. More information about payment options is here. To find a GTBank or GTBank branch,
