Turkey Sticker Visa Fees

When applying for a Turkey sticker visa for transit, tourism, business, study, cultural, sports, researching, medical, family/friends visit, or as a journalist, you will need to pay the following Turkey visa fee:

DO NIGERIANS NEED A VISA FOR TURKEY?

Yes, Nigerian passport holders need a visa to enter Turkey, even for short stays. The visa must be obtained in advance.

Travelers who meet the requirements below can get a Turkish visa from Nigeria online. This is the quickest and most convenient way to apply: Nigerians do not need to visit a Turkish Embassy.

The Turkey visa for Nigerians is valid for 180 days from the arrival date. It can be used to stay for up to 1 month.

Only diplomatic passport holders are exempt from applying for a visa for up to 90 days.

TURKEY VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR NIGERIANS

Nigerian citizens must have the following documents to be eligible for the Turkish eVisa:

  • Nigerian passport valid for at least 5 months beyond the date of arrival
  • Valid residence permit or visa from a Schengen country, the UK, US, or Ireland

Electronic visas are not accepted as supporting documents.

Applicants also need a credit or debit card to pay the Turkey visa processing fee and an email address.

HOW TO GET A TURKEY VISA FROM NIGERIA

Nigerians who are eligible for the Turkish eVisa can apply online in 3 steps:

TURKEY E-VISA APPLICATION FROM NIGERIA

The Turkey visa application from Nigeria is straightforward to complete. Nigerians need to provide some basic personal information, passport data, and travel details including:

  • Name, date of birth, nationality
  • Nigerian passport number, issue date, and expiry date
  • Supporting document (visa or residence permit) expiry date
  • Date of arrival in Turkey

Nigerian applicants should check all information before submitting their request. Any mistakes or missing information could lead to processing delays or even cause the Turkey visa to be rejected.

Nigerians can fly to Turkey using the eVisa. Some popular routes include:

  • Abuja to Antalya (1 stop)
  • Port Harcourt to Ankara (2 stops)

Nigerians must depart Turkey within one month. The eVisa is a single-entry permit which means that a new application must be made before each trip to Turkey.

The electronic visa is also accepted at Turkish sea and land borders.
