Health Check For Work Permit In Vietnam

Work permit in Vietnam is a legal document necessary for foreigners living in Vietnam. Work permit can be granted by Ministtry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs(MOLISA). For foreigners who want to apply for work permit, they need to provide necessary certificates/documents to prove they are qualified. MOLISA will require applicants to provide health check results as part of their paperwork package  . Important: Foreigners who want to apply for Resident Permit in Vietnam must still qualify the exam test including clean criminal record, good health check result and enough money of legal status.A new regulation introduced by the Ministry of Labor, Invalid and Social Affairs requires foreign employees to undergo a health check before they are approved for a Work Permit. The requirements apply to expats who are applying for work permits in Vietnam under most categories.

Health Check For Work Permit In Vietnam

It is quite common for many expats and foreign workers to get a work permit in Vietnam either through a one year or multiple year contract with their Vietnamese employers. This is due to the fact that many foreign companies choose to invest in the country therefore creating job opportunities for both international and local workers.Citizenship and Immigration Canada, popularly known as CIC, is the agency responsible for handling immigration applications. But unlike other nations, Canada isn’t a driverless country. Citizens and permanent residents of the country would require work permit to work there. So if you are visa-exempt and wish to work in Canada sometime in the future, it is advisable to apply for a work permit as a precautionary measure.

Work Permit Health Certificate

When any foreign worker applies for a work permit, under the regulations of Vietnam they require a health certificate. Overview Care24H Work Permit Health Check-up

The Care24H Work Permit Health Check-up involves a basic physical examination, some blood and urine tests, a stool sample, a measure of your BMI, tests for vital signs, an ECG and any required X-rays or magnetic imaging. Our check-up will take approximately 1–2 hours; please book your appointment in advance and arrive on time. The results and certificate of the health check-up will be available within four working days, and we can either send you the results, or you can return to the Care24H clinic to pick them up.

Your company may provide you with the instructions and template for this type of check-up. Care24H will provide its work permit health check-up service, which complies with the relevant Vietnamese regulations (which, as mentioned, may vary between provinces). Please be aware you can not re-use an old medical report for your work permit application, as there is an expiry date on medical check-ups; please do not obtain your Care24H work permit health check-up before it is required, even if advised by your employer.

Please wear loose clothing, which will help us with a number of the tests.
