Full Sail Summer Break

Full Sail Summer Break allows students to take courses in 5-weeks of intensive, accelerated study for a fraction of the cost of our regular programs. If you’re an avid gamer and are asking yourself what to do this summer, take a look at one of the most exciting video game-inspired courses out there: Full Sail Summer Break! In this course, students learn how to create their very own video games. The course covers a diverse range of topics such as programming, animation, art design and creative writing. You’ll have the chance to work with your peers on group projects and see your designs come to life in front of you.

Full Sail University is an accredited online university that provides current students and recent graduates with the opportunity to visit campus in order to reapply, or apply for the first time. You will also enjoy numerous perks and memorable experiences throughout the week, including classes taught by Full Sail instructors, countless social activities on campus, and a weekend stay at a Four Seasons Hotel. All across America, students jumped up from their desks and high-fived each other. It was the middle of June so they did not have to go to school anymore. The summer break had begun!

We believe all children are creative and deserve the opportunity to thrive with their imaginations. Our mission at Full Sail Labs is to provide students with a transformative educational experience that makes them content creators instead of simply content consumers. We do this by offering unique curricula that combine storytelling, technology, and art through collaboration with peers and the best instructors. And, just like at Full Sail University, we do this through immersive teaching methods and hands-on learning. Full Sail Labs offers 5-Day project-based Virtual and Campus summer camps for teens. Virtual camps include 20 hours of instructor-led learning, meeting twice each day for 2-hour sessions with a 1-hour Open Lab each afternoon. Campus camps offer 40 hours of in-person engagement, 8 hours each day, which includes 6 hours of instructor-led learning, 1-hour lunch break, snack breaks, and a variety of mental-break activities throughout the week to enrich creativity, practice critical thinking, and promote self-guided exploration and discovery!

How will you spend your Spring Break?

An alternative break is service-learning experience in which students travel to engage in direct-service. These trips are generally a week-long, and occur during spring or summer break where students work in partnership with host organizations on community-driven goals, focused on a particular social justice topic. Through exploration and immersion into the social issue long before the trip starts, students are able to interrogate the root causes of social issues in a way that allows them to engage compassionately and think critically. Upon their return, students are encouraged to engage in their own communities through informed, meaningful action.

We offer six programs focused on social justice issues as diverse as ecosystem restoration to indigenous rights, immigration, housing insecurity, community health, education, and more.
