A majority of people take a vacation every year. Vacations can be very useful in terms of enjoyment as well as productivity. Taking a European vacation with your toddler can be rewarding, and you can make it happen if you plan it accordingly.Oh, Europe. After the decision was made to cancel Europe as a vacation destination with our twins, it seemed all hope was lost. But then we started planning as if we were going (dismissing the thought of no flights or hotels), and wound up thinking that Europe is a vacation option after all!

Taking a family vacation can bring mixed emotions. For example, there is always the excitement of being tempted with new places to visit and doing things you never thought possible. But at the same time, there is always a bit of stress that comes along with planning for your trip. I was in the same boat when my husband and I decided to plan our first family vacation with our toddler son.

When we started planning our vacation to London and Paris, the first thing I thought was, oh no! How in the world am I going to keep my toddler engaged and entertained while on a plane and then in a new country with a different language?
