In response to the global outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), UAE public health authorities are taking action to protect the safety and well-being of UAE citizens, residents, and visitors.
International travelers to the UAE who are fully vaccinated are no longer required to show a negative COVID-19 PCR test prior to departure.

Traveling to Abu Dhabi
International visitors no longer need a test before flying into Abu Dhabi if they are fully vaccinated, under 16 years old, or hold a COVID-19 recovery certificate with a QR code dated within 30 days of departure. Travelers who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 must present a negative PCR test result taken within 48 hours of their scheduled departure.
Visitors are no longer required to take a PCR test upon arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport. However, the testing facility remains at the airport for any visitors who wish to take a PCR test (AED 40) to activate their Al Hosn green pass.

Vaccinated visitors are permitted entry to events, tourist attractions and cultural sites in Abu Dhabi after showing a green pass verifying their testing and vaccination status on the Al Hosn app. Individuals without the Al Hosn app can alternatively access public places by presenting proof of full vaccination and a negative test result received within 14 days. As of March 17, 2022, unvaccinated individuals are permitted to enter public places after presenting a negative result for a PCR test taken within 48 hours.
Traveling from Dubai to Abu Dhabi
As of February 28, 2022, visitors are not required to show the Al Hosn green pass or undergo an EDE scan in order to enter Abu Dhabi from within the UAE. The green pass is still required to enter public spaces in Abu Dhabi.
Traveling to Dubai
International visitors flying to Dubai who are fully vaccinated will need to present an approved COVID-19 vaccination certificate that contains a QR code. Unvaccinated travelers will need to present a negative result for a PCR test taken within 48 hours, or a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 that contains a QR code.

Traveling to the United States
All non-US citizen, non-US immigrants traveling to the United States by air are required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. As of June 12, 2022, air passengers traveling to the US from a foreign country are no longer required to show a negative COVID-19 test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight.

UAE Visa Policies
Tourist visas are being issued by the Dubai and Abu Dhabi authorities. As of August 30, 2021, applications for tourist visas are open to people from all countries, provided that they are fully vaccinated with a WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccine. This includes vaccinated visitors arriving from countries from which travel to the UAE was previously banned.
