Christmas vacation in vermont

All in all, the Christmas vacation in vermont experience was a hit. I’d definitely recommend visiting the Northeast Kingdom Magic Forest again. It was odd to be in the middle of Vermont and still have a magical forest amidst pine trees with a giant candy cane hill and life size gingerbread house.

As soon as the kids are in bed, it’s off to the road to get them situated for the holiday break. When we arrived we were greeted by a nice lady named Alice who explained that we had been assigned to a cottage owned by her and her husband. Once the registration process was complete, she gave us the key and wished us Merry Christmas.

If you’re looking for a Christmas vacation in Vermont, look no further. Vermont is the perfect place to spend your holiday season, whether you’re looking for a quiet getaway or a lively scene.

Vermont has something for everyone. There are cozy inns and ski resorts, historic landmarks and modern art museums, quaint towns and bustling cities. You can even find a little of everything in Burlington, the largest city in Vermont with its own unique feel thanks to its vibrant university community.

When it comes to activities during your trip, there’s no shortage of options either—from skiing at one of many resorts throughout the state (some of which have been around since the 1800s!) to shopping on Church Street Marketplace in Burlington or exploring Essex Junction’s historic district. If you prefer something less physical, take a tour of the Ben & Jerry’s factory or visit Shelburne Museum & The Discovery Center (both located in Chittenden County). You’ll also want to check out Shelburne Farms—a working farm that offers both educational programs and family-friendly activities like pony rides!
