Chile Visa For Indian Citizens

Any online citizen from India wishing to visit and stay in Chile as a tourist can enter the country without needing any prior travel authorization. This has been made possible after the implementation of Chilean electronic passport by the country, which allows for simple and quick visa-free entry for Indian nationals.

Chile is one of the most popular destinations for those looking for adventure, excitement and a change from the normal monotony of daily routines. The best part is, Indians don’t require any special visas or permissions to enter this amazing country; they can travel to Chile with their passport and an Entry Visa (CL) stamp on it.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CHILE VISA

1. Indian National holding a valid Salary Indian passport can apply for Chile Visa.
2. Person wishes to travel to Chile for the purpose of Tourism/Family or friends Visit/Business can apply visa through Visa Lounge. Person who seeks employment in Chile is not eligible to apply through Visa Lounge.
3. Travel insurance is mandatory requirement for passengers traveling to Chile. Visa Lounge also provides Travel Insurance to passengers at an additional cost.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
Business:
1. Original Valid Passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of travel.
2. 1 Form (To be done online by PAX, through the website https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl). All documents also need to be uploaded while making the application online.
3. 2 Photos (white background).
4. Covering Letter (addressed to Embassy Of Chile) Covering letter (addressed to Embassy Of Chile) stating his name, designation, passport number and purpose & duration of the visit. The letter should be duly signed by the applicant with his contact details
5. Invitation Letter (Invitation letter should Notarized and Legalized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Chile).A copy of Invitation Letter from Chilean host / Inviting Company on its letter head stating the applicant’s name and purpose of travel & duration of stay along with sponsorship details. The letter should be duly signed by the authorized signatory with his name & designation.
6. Return Ticket Itinerary.

7. Letter from Chamber of Commerce or Indian company registration is must.
8. Bank Statement (3 months).
9. IT Return (3 years).
10. Salary slips last 3 months.
11. AUTHORITY LETTER on Rs 50/- Stamp Paper duly Notarized by Notary (Matter of Authority Letter is available in FORM SECTION of our website). The Stamp Paper should also have the photograph of PAX duly stamped by Notary and signed by Pax.
12. For Stay more than 30 days and up to 180 days, the Embassy MAY consider the Visa Application under TEMPORARY RESIDENCE PERMIT for which in addition to above documents below mentioned documents are also required :
     a) Original PCC.
     b) Original Invitation from Chile is MANDATORY.
     c) Medical Physical Fitness Report.
     d) Fees – Rs 10779/-(Equivalent to 147 USD)and APPLICANT PERSONAL PRESENCE MANDATORY and
     e) In case, any applicant is unable to come personally to the Embassy for the submission of fee receipt and/or for collection of passport, then Applicant has to write an email to the Chile Embassy stating reason for inability to come personally to the Embassy.
Embassy will check with their concerned ministry and may allow exemption only after receiving an approval from their concerned ministry.
In case of approval from the Embassy, the applicant needs to give a formal authority letter on stamp paper as per details mentioned on our website and Jetsave shall perform on applicant’s behalf accordingly

Tourist:
1. Valid Passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of travel.
2. 1 Form (To be done online by pax, through the website https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl). All documents also need to be uploaded while making the application online.
3. 2 Photos (white background),
4. Covering letter (addressed to Embassy Of Chile)stating his name, designation, passport number and purpose & duration of the visit. The letter should be duly signed by the applicant with his contact details
5. Returns confirm ticket.
6. Hotel confirmation.
7. Personal Bank Statement (last 6 months).
8. IT Return (2 years).
9. AUTHORITY LETTER on Rs 50/- Stamp Paper duly Notarized by Notary (Matter of Authority Letter is available in FORM SECTION of our website). The Stamp Paper should also have the photograph of pax duly stamped by Notary and signed by Pax.
10. Proof of Occupation:
     a) Self Employed: Proof of ownership
     b) Employed: Salary slips for last 3 months/ NOC from company
     c) Student: NOC from school along with school ID card copy.

NOTE
Applicants holding valid (or even expired) visa for US, UK, Schengen, New Zealand, Canada, Latin America and Australia :- For such applicants Jetsave can process the visas on applicant’s behalf. Jetsave shall fill in the online form, pay visa fees, submit and collect the passport at Embassy with the authority letter as per format in our form section and duly notarized.

For Applicants WHO DO NOT HOLD above visas will be required to COME PERSONALLY for the collection and submission of the passport at the Embassy. 

1. Please note that applicant has to mention his/her Email ID, Mobile /Direct Landline number and the Educational Qualifications either on the Covering Letter or at the back side of the Visa Application Form.
     a) The applicant MAY be called for personal interview.
     b) In case, any applicant is unable to come personally to the Embassy for the submission of fee receipt and/or for collection of passport, then Applicant has to write an email to the Chile Embassy stating reason for inability to come personally to the Embassy.

5. Collection Time: 11:30am To 12:30pm
6. VISA SECTION WORKING DAYS: Embassy does not accept the Application for visa on last 02 working days of the month
