Canadian Pr Need Visa For Mexico

Mexico: The place to be! If you live in a cold country and are searching for a warm and sunny destination for your holidays, Mexico is your solution. It is ideally placed side by side with the United States’ neighboring Pacific coastline, where you can have an easy access to the beaches and wonderful tourist resorts of Acapulco: the best option for having fun on the beach or just having some rest in those days off that everyone needs. Acapulco has two seasons, the summer and winter one. The waves get larger in winter but the temperatures are pretty high. Maybe you are wondering if you need a visa to go to Mexico, right? One of the most important things you should know when traveling outside of your country is whether or not you need a visa and how can obtain it.

If you’re travelling to Mexico, you now need a visa to enter. The last time I checked, the Canadian government was not one of the countries exempt from the Mexican visa requirement so, for the foreseeable future, Canadians will be required to obtain a temporary visitor permit (fianza) before arriving in Mexico. As of June 1st, 2008, if you plan to cross the Mexican border by land (from Canada or vice versa) using a standard vehicle or vessel and you are not a full-time resident of Canada, then here are the DWI-related laws that you’ll need to be aware of as they apply while travelling in Mexico.

It’s not always easy having a Mexican girlfriend, especially if you live in another country. Believe it or not, Mexican girls are really into Canadian guys, and you’ll find lots of success with these tips. I’m currently living in Canada with my Mexican girlfriend, but originally from the US. When we started dating she was living in Mexico and had a tourist visa, which meant she had to leave every 90 days. At this time I was making 6 figures monthly and didn’t think twice about going down there and getting her a fiance visa quickly. Now she has a work permit and can stay for as long as she wants (she’s already here on a student visa).

Visa requirements for Canadians

Canadian citizens using Canadian passports do not need a visa to enter this country for limited stays.

Visa requirements for Foreigners

You must apply directly to the embassy or high commission for this visa. No third party can assist.

Canadian citizens using Canadian passports do not need a visa for short stays as tourists or on business. This does not apply to persons holding Canadian “Travel Documents” (1951 convention refugees). This does not apply to Canadians who are using non-Canadian passports, or to Canadians going for work or study or any other non-tourist/business reason.

Foreign residents of Canada with a valid Canadian Permanent Resident card, and a valid foreign PASSPORT (not a refugee travel document or certificate of identity), no longer require a visa for either tourism or business purposes. You must carry your valid foreign passport and your valid Canadian PR card to Mexico.

Holders of Canadian Permanent Residency status (e.g. Canadian Landed Immigrants) with a current and valid PR card and a current and valid foreign national passport do not require a visa to visit Mexico as tourists for less than 30 days. This does not apply to refugees or holders of travel documents or certificates of identity. You must produce a valid foreign passport and valid Canadian Permanent Residence Card as proof of permanent residency.

PERMANENT RESIDENTS who are in doubt about the Mexican policy of visa-free travel should CONTACT THEIR AIRLINE for further details.
