7. Royal Solaris Cancun 

This is one of the most unique all inclusive resorts in Cancun Mexico for families, it’s very bright and cheerful, and manages to have an upscale feeling without being intimidating or stuffy.

It’s like if you took everything you’d get from a high end luxury resort, but adjusted it for families.

Pizzalisima serves up authentic stone oven pizza everyday, but there are less-casual dining options too, for special meals.

The rooms in Royal Solaris Cancun feel clean, fresh, and simple – a great way to escape the clutter of day to day life and to relax the mind.

8. The Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort

Technically, the The Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort is not an all inclusive, as the rate only includes the room.

However, they provide all the necessary amenities such as laundry, kitchenette, living and dining room (Villas), a bath tub in the bathroom, with high quality furniture, DVD and blue ray players.

They have a number of room options available to suit families of all sizes, and a small handful of fantastic restaurants to choose from.

They don’t cater to younger children as well as some of the other places we’ve explored, so this location is more suited to families that are a bit older.

Within one mile there’s an interactive aquarium, a wax museum, parasailing, Arte Garden, an art museum, and a lot more.

The Westin Lagunamar doesn’t have as many things to do on-site as some of the other resorts, but they’re in a prime location and there’s tons to do within walking distance, not to mention within 10-25 miles for half-day trips.

9. Omni Cancun Resort & Villas

If white sand beaches with private Thai beds accompanied by wine and fruit plates sounds good to you, then this is a worthwhile upgrade to the regular all-inclusive package at Omni Cancun.

You can even get a massage while lounging in the private beds right on the beach, it’s incredible. 

If family time and adventure is more your style, then book a tennis court or even some time with a tennis pro to work on your game.

The pools and jacuzzis are otherworldly, and the spa will have you losing track of time.

Beyond what’s on the resort itself, there are nearby tours you can book that will deliver you directly to all of the funnest nearby Cancun attractions.

10. Hyatt Ziva Cancun 

The Hyatt Ziva Cancun is a child-friendly resort owned by one of the premiere hotel brands in the world, so there’s a certain polish that you’ll experience.

If you’re looking for something more on the rustic side, you won’t necessarily find it here, but for a smooth and all-around great experience, that’s what experienced brands deliver.

Activities include fitness and sports like a 24 hour gym overlooking the Caribbean Sea, and they have on-site trainers to help you get the most out of your workout.

There’s beachside yoga, too.

Daily family activities include arts and crafts, dance classes, Spanish lessons, tennis, and underwater adventures.

The KidZ Club is a great place for younger ones to socialize, play in the water, play some video games, visit the beach, and a lot more – fully supervised by staff.
