The 3 freestanding cottages have all been given their own personalities and individual decor. The cottages are nestled into a cypress grove and each has been designed to maximize the views. Some guests choose the same cottage each time and think of it as their personal beach house! A game of bean bag throw would be ideal on the spacious green lawn, which also overlooks the ocean from the heated swimming pool. Take a seat in one of the red lawn chairs and unwind as the kids play and you take in the scenery. To keep your kids happy and entertained, we have games to play and a variety of movies. One of the first hotels on Moonstone Beach was the Castle Inn. Due to its close proximity to the shore, it is still a favorite with families. Just over Moonstone Drive are Leffingwell Park and the tidal pools, which are packed with sea life for the youngsters to observe.

The Cambria Pines Lodge & Spa offers a full-service spa, outdoor pool and hot tubs, and a fitness center with yoga classes and fitness trainers on staff. The Cambria Inn is one of our favorite places to stay when we visit Cambria—it’s just so cozy! The rooms have an old-fashioned feel to them that makes us feel like we’re staying at grandma’s house (in a good way). They also have free Wi-Fi, which is great if you need to work while you’re away from home. If you don’t want to drive anywhere for dinner or drinks after your long day exploring this beautiful city by foot or bike then head downstairs where there is a small dining room.
