The best thing about B.A.L. is the location, which is right next to the Pearl Street Mall and just a short walk from downtown Boulder’s shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean and spacious with plenty of natural light, and they have all of the amenities you’d expect in a hotel room: nice linens, cable TV, a desk space. There’s also a small kitchenette with microwave and mini fridge that guests can use—it’s not huge but it’ll do in a pinch!

The only downside is that there aren’t any restaurants within walking distance, so if you’re planning on staying here for more than two days I’d recommend bringing some groceries with you or making sure there’s food nearby where you can grab something quick if you want it.

Basecamp boulder

Basecamp Boulder is a bouldering gym located in Denver, Colorado. We are the only bouldering gym in Denver with a 100% natural rock climbing area. Our walls are made of real rock instead of plastic or resin, which means you have to climb on real rock. We feel that this is an important feature because it gives our climbers a more authentic experience and allows them to get better at climbing without having to worry about falling off their holds.

We also offer yoga classes on Fridays from noon – 1 pm. These classes are free for members and cost $10 for non-members.

Basecamp boulder is a great place for beginners to the sport of bouldering.

If you’re new to climbing, Basecamp Boulder is a great place to start because all of the routes are marked with color-coded dots on the rock face which correspond with difficulty levels so you can easily find something appropriate for your skill level. The routes range from easy (blue) through more difficult (orange, red) and even some that are considered advanced (black).

There are also plenty of boulders scattered around Basecamp that are suitable for practicing topping out or downclimbing as well as traversing across large expanses of rock without ropes or harnesses.
