Cafe 6 three 4

Cafe 6 Three 4 isn’t new exactly new to McCall, but if the last time you visited was during the Winter Carnival 2020, the location is. The cafe relocated from Roosevelt Ave to the former McCall Rental & Sales space on 3rd Street in September 2020. They have 13 different options on their breakfast menu ranging from Foxy’s French Toast and the Waffle of the Month to Avacado Toast and burritos. They’ve got a 4.5-star rating on Tripadvisor and 4 stars on Yelp. According to both their Facebook page and website, Cafe 6 three 4 is open Tuesday-Saturday 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. They stop serving breakfast at 11.

FoggLifter Cafe

If we had to make a personal recommendation, FoggLifter is certainly it. In fact, we started eating breakfast there while Pancake House was still open because we didn’t want to deal with the hours-long wait up the road. Don’t get us wrong. FoggLifter Cafe is a small space and you’ll still likely have a wait, but nowhere near as long as what you would’ve experienced during Winter Carnival at the now-defunct Pancake House. Their breakfast menu includes several choices of eggs Benedict, huevos rancheros, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, bagels and other egg-based dishes. We also love that they serve warm apple cider year-round. Fogglighter has a 4.5-star rating on Tripadvisor and four stars on Yelp. They’re open daily from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Payette Dream Coffeehouse

Payette Dream Coffee House took over the old Moxie Java location on Lake Street in 2017. Their breakfast menu has 12 different options on it and includes chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, french toast and several different omelets. The coffee house has a 4-star rating on both Tripadvisor and Yelp. They’re open daily from 6 a.m.-7 p.m. with breakfast service ending at 11 a.m.

Facebook/Shore Lodge – McCall, Idaho

The Cutwater on Payette Lake

Honestly, we love The Cutwater mainly for the huge 2,000-gallon saltwater fish tank they have but their breakfast is pretty good too! They’ve got a lot of egg dishes to choose from along with some heartier and more creative dishes like Raspberry Mascarpone French Toast, Pumpkin Bread French Toast and Brioche French Toast. The Cutwater has a 4-star rating on Tripadvisor and 3.5 stars on Yelp. They’re open for breakfast daily from 7-11 a.m. and also serve a Sunday Brunch from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

KB’s

When you’re looking for breakfast, but get a late start, KB’s is an option for you. They have four different breakfast burritos on their menu. They’ve got a 4.5-star rating on Tripadvisor and 4 stars on Yelp. We say it’s a great choice for those who get a late start to the day because they don’t open until 10 a.m.
