Baby Born On Visit Visa In Ksa

An Indian woman who gave birth to a baby boy while in Saudi Arabia (SA) on visit visa has been handed over custody by the Al Kharj police, who moved her to the hospital before handing her over to her family members, in accordance with the order of a court.

A five-month pregnant Sri Lankan woman gave birth to a baby boy in a Saudi airport after being denied entry into the country last week. Rose, 28, had arrived at the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah on Saturday, September 10th on an Umrah visa with her husband and three children (aged 8, 5 and 2). The family was reportedly intending to stay in Saudi Arabia for the month of Ramadan, after which they would return home to Sri Lanka.

Requirements:

  • Original passport valid for no less than six (6) months, with at least two (2) successive empty visa pages.

  • Copy of both parents’ passports, residence cards, and exit/re-entry visas.
  • Copy of the baby’s birth certificate.
