Australian Visa Options

Visitor – Subclass 600

Australian Visitor Visa Subclass 600 has multiple streams that you can apply for. The Tourist, Sponsored Family, and Approved Destination Status (ADS) streams.

Visas in this stream are granted to nationals of the People’s Republic of China but not Hong Kong and Macau), and are designed to allow the holder to travel for the purpose of tourism or other recreational activities such as:

  • holidays or sightseeing
  • social or recreational reasons
  • visiting relatives or friends
  • studying for less than three months
  • other short-term, non-work purposes.

The Business Visitor stream is designed for:

  • making general business or employment enquiries
  • investigating, negotiating, entering into or reviewing a business contract
  • activities relating to official government to government visits and
  • participation in a conference, trade fair or seminar unless there is payment for participation.

Visitor visas can allow multiple travel and allow stays of 3, 6 or 12 months.

Generally, business visitor visas allow a stay of up to 3 months.

Processing times can vary but are usually around 5-30 working days.
