The results of the survey, which was conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, are based on a survey of more than 12,500 residents in over 100 cities with populations of more than 100,000. “In these surveys,” explains Money magazine editor at large Mark Miller, “residents were asked to rate their city on everything from safety to transportation.”
